B.地震发生时，若在平房住宅里，应迅速钻到桌子下、床下或墙根下，不可靠近窗口。或者头顶被褥、枕头、棉衣等。这样即使房屋倒塌，也可减少伤亡。
地震发生时，若在楼房里，那除了钻到桌子下、床下以外，也可躲到厨房、厕所中去，因厨房、厕所开间小，支撑作用较大一些。但不要跑到阳台上去，因整个建筑物可能会倾斜，阳台和屋檐等附属建筑下落的可能性极大。
